A more interesting post
Since I can't seem to concentrate on doing anything all for the past couple of days, I thought I should put up some pics here. I am still coughing away non-stop. I've been taking cough syrup/pills, honey and lime remedy, chlorophyll, vitamin C and even Chinese herbs!! *cough cough* and still no change! I even dreamt that a smurf was able to cure me, right smurfy??
This is the butterfly vest that i wanted to knit so much. It didn't take that long to knit, maybe about 2 weeks or so. This picture is of me modeling it. I've yet to get a camisole to wear it with, so thats me wearing a white t-shirt underneath. Picture is kinda crappy but this is the best to show the lace on it. I just need to block the frills into shape. The vest pretty much fits me so I'm not going to block it any bigger.
Next, the supposed socks for mom. Bleh. It's so huge! It fits me and I'm a size 8. Mom's a size 5. You get the picture?? I dumped it in the yarn container till I figure out what to do with it.
This, is my current project - Clapotis using the Rowan Tapestry Yarn in Rustic, given to me from SP9. I've started the straight rows and I'm intending to finish up all 3 balls that I have.
And finally look who visited me...
The yarn that I won at Courtney's blog is finally here!! Trust me the colours of the yarn are 10 times better than what you see in this picture. It's just so so amazing!!! It's got all favourite colours rolled into one! I don't even dare to unwind the skin, just want to sit and stare at it! It's still in the zip lock bag and in the box it came in, for safe keeping. I might just frame it ha ha!
Thanks so much Courtney!! I have to say that your dyeing skills are amazing!! Don't know how you had the heart to let Blues Clues go.
Okay I think that's all for now. I will tryyyy to get down to doing my assignments now. I will return soon to vent about more things.
Thanks for dropping by and happy knitting!!
